Why do I post on this blog? I have covered most of this in my main and about pages. Please make sure you visit them, if it’s unclear. To sum it up, I want to be a resource. It gives me great pleasure and feels like something I do naturally.
Who is it for? Well, I think a variety of people will find my resources useful. Any language arts teacher could use the NaNoWriMo posts. Christian school teachers who are looking for wholesome books to use in their classes, will like the reviews. Parents who homeschool may find it all useful. Others may only read the camping posts. I do have a target audience, but I also have a variety of topics. So, I think it could be helpful to many.
You know, this blog may change over the years. Within the next few years, I’m going to be an empty nester, so my advice for parents of toddlers may not be that vast. I will not be their best resource. However, I love teaching, writing, camping, etc. So, those things will probably always be there to some extent. Everything has its season. October and November will probably address NaNoWriMo. Spring and summer will have some camping posts to be sure. Book reviews and classroom ideas will be sprinkled throughout.
I like Tuesdays for posting here. My current schedule is to post on Tuesdays and Fridays at 10:00 AM for this month. Then, I’ll go to a once-a-week schedule. I’ll reserve the occasional Friday for extra posts.
I am looking all over for ideas. I check my books and the internet. But, my biggest resource is you! I would love to hear what you want me to address. If it’s outside my experience or what I see for this blog, I’ll gladly try to find a resource for you. Otherwise, I’ll blog about it!
What would you like to see me address in this blog?
